Random Observations from Godzilla vs. Spacegodzilla

Hey Kaiju Fans,

I was watching Godzilla vs. Spacegodzilla for the first time in awhile and noticed a few things....

Why were there crystals coming out of the ground only configured in the circular "cage" formation" when Spacegodzilla landed to confront Big G and Little G on Baas Island? Couldn't they have been a useful trap when the kaiju's battle it out in Fukuoka? Could it be attributed to Space G's Telekinesis abilities and knowing his enemies?

Is Little Godzilla one of the most adorable creatures in the Kaiju universe? His lovable aura is almost ridiculous. I would have imagined that the minds at Toho wanted to mimic Minilla but maybe actually have him look like his dad. His weak and non so confident roar/ squeak truly makes him irresistible haha
